Members are invited to participate in an online research survey to understand public perceptions about how climate change may affect the sustainable management of marine and coastal resources.
The online research survey: ‘Public awareness of climate change, its effects and solutions in marine and coastal environments’, has been recently launched by MaCoBioS, Marine Coastal Ecosystems Biodiversity and Services in a Changing World, an EU Horizon 2020 project.

According to MaCoBioS:
This research will help us to develop clear policy advice on how to manage resilient marine and coastal ecosystems by ensuring that public views are included in our policy advice.
This anonymous survey is targeted at people who use marine and coastal ecosystems for recreation, tourism or food production and those involved in conservation. As a key organisation representing fishers in England we would like to know what you and your members think.
The survey is open until 16th February 2022 to anyone aged over 18, and should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. To complete it, please click on the link: www.macobios.eu/survey
If you have questions regarding this research, please contact info@macobios.eu.
Launched in 2020, MaCoBioS is a consortium of scientists and practitioners that aims to ensure efficient and integrated management and conservation strategies for marine and coastal ecosystems to face climate change.
The project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 869710.
