Decommissioned Gas Installation - Hewett 52/5A

Transit of Final Location of Heavy Lift Vessels (HLV) Scaldis Rambiz & Gulliver. Scaldis will start with the removal of the decommissioned gas installation the Hewett 52/5A beginning of May 2024. There will be an HLV located at 52/5A completing the removal of the installation topsides and jacket and will be transiting from the port of Flushing to the location on the 1st of May. The HLV is expected to be on location on the 2nd of May as per the schedule below.

Please be advised of this notice advising mariners of the site investigation survey of the Norfolk Boreas, Vanguard East and Vanguard West windfarms and export cable. The Noordhoek Pathfinder and Geo Ranger will be completing survey operations in UK waters. The surveys started in March 2023 and are scheduled to last until the end of June 2024 (subject to weather and additional scopes).

Spirit Energy has contracted the Shearwater GeoServices - operated SW Amundsen survey vessel to conduct a high - resolution 3D seismic survey of the South Morecambe and North Morecambe gas fields, located in UKCS blocks 110/2, 110/3, 110/7, 110/8 and 113/27 of the east Irish Sea. Update 18th April 2024: Vessel in survey area as of 17th April 2024.

Scallop Underwater TV survey - Western Channel and Cornwall

To carry out underwater TV survey of scallops in unfished areas of Western Channel and Cornwall. Cefas Endeavour will deploy a drop-frame camera system and camera sledge in order to obtain and optimise seabed footage. R.V. Endeavour will then undertake underwater camera tows at randomised stations in unfished areas, each of 200m transects, in order to estimate scallop densities.

Welsh Acoustic Marine Mammal Survey (WAMMS) - Anglesey Marine Special Area of Conservation

To monitor underwater sound and marine mammal activity in the Anglesey Marine Special Area of Conservation. This will be achieved by the deployment of sensors on the seabed for a period of 22 months from May 2023 until February 2025. This equipment may pose a hazard to fishing or survey operations in the area and operators are requested to be mindful of the deployment of gear.

The Moray East Over Trawl Survey (Export Cable Trawl Sweep) was undertaken by the MV Sardonyx between the 1/9/2021 and the 5/9/2021. The work was undertaken using appropriate gear types for the locations outlined below, with the crossings being undertaken successfully. At Section 1, at crossing position 57°41.962'N 002°33.078'W, the gear encountered a peak tension and a reduction in gear spread.

Floating LiDAR Buoy - Morgan (Generation Assets)

The Morgan floating LiDAR buoy has stopped functioning due to depleted batteries. Consequently, the navigation lantern and AIS transmitter are no longer fully operational. Recovery of the Morgan Floating LiDAR buoy is planned for the 26/04/24 onwards, weather permitting.
