Acoustic Monitor - Culzean Field

In preparation for the installation of a floating Wind Turbine at Culzean - an acoustic device will be deployed near to the proposed wind turbine location at the Culzean field. The acoustic device will be at the location noted below - but will extend to a total height of 25m above the seabed. The device will deployed from 19th April 2026 (depending on weather) and will be in place for approx. six months.

North Sea Link - Geophysical Survey

Please be advised that on behalf of National Grid Ventures, Fugro is planning to conduct a geophysical survey in the North Sea from the nearshore limit north of Blyth, (55° 09.5’N 001° 28.9’ W) and extending offshore to the UK / Norway border. The survey works shall be conducted by the Fugro Frontier utilising multibeam echosounder and towed sidescan sonar.

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks Transmission and National Grid Electricity Transmission Plc are delivering the Eastern Green Link 2 (EGL 2) Project. The survey works for EGL 2 precedes the installation of an electricity transmission link from the East coast of Scotland (Sandford Bay, Peterhead) to the East coast of England (South of Bridlington/Flamborough Head) due to be completed in 2029
