Covering the industry from the south of the Humber to the Thames, the East Anglia Committee caters for the small boat shellfish and fin-fish sector that dominates this region.
The newest of the NFFO regional Committees established in 2015, the Committee has come out of the starting blocks energetically to work on the issues of immediate concern to the industry, including the management of the important shell fisheries in the region and the assessment of fisheries and implementation of management measures associated with the extensive suite of new and existing Marine Protected Areas.
North Norfolk skipper Dave Chambers chairs the committee, supported by Simon Bywater and Neil Lake acting as the committee’s Vice Chairmen.
